these are the brilliant cover versions of arthur russell's songs performed by vera november aka verity susman from elctrelane, jens lekman (i trully hope he'll perfom "a little lost" on september, 29th), victoria bergsman from taken by trees and the concretes (misha, i also hope she'll perform "make1,2" for you in berlin ) and joel gibb (the hidden cameras). btw, its kinda amusing that the latter have been perfoming "that's us/wild combination" at vancouver gig about year ago though i was totally unaware of this fact. just the same thing happened to me at the be good tanyas gig.
