I actually agree with you on torture. I loathe that the World Government does it... and they do it exactly for the reasons you said. I just want the slavers out of the range of being able to hurt anyone else. I'm sick of the fucking politics but scum like that are still worse than the damn politics. And Magellan is far less of a sadist than Shiryuu. He doesn't directly torture anyone, just lets them do it to themselves.

Keeping the world safe is... exactly what I want but if you kill them... You're sinking to their level. Prove you're better, damn it, because I'm pretty sure you are. You're right. I don't want you to be the bad guy, why are you so prepared to be?

If they don't live they'll never understand what they did was wrong and why. I know you don't think they will ever get it even if they DO live but you're not giving them a chance to get it which is almost just the same as them not giving a chance to children to grow up into adults.
