Dark Tower Soundtrack

For the one or two of you who care.
So I'm working on a Dark Tower Ultimate Soundtrack, and have a small core list of songs:

Obvious Choices (at least to me) that come from the books:
*Hey Jude - The Beatles: A song I will forever associate with the books; a relic of times past.

Don't forget the stuff off of Demons & Wizards "Touched By The Crimson King."

crimson king, terror train, seize the day, and the gunslinger being direct references, and many others on that CD being less direct, but still with the theme. Beneath These Waves being about Ahab, who is also like Roland in his quest, Wicked Witch which is about Wizard of Oz and Rhea, and Dorian being about Dorian Grey, but also kinda like Roland, etc.

Yeah, I still have the copy you burned for me. I listened to it again right before starting my search. And...I don't know. While the lyrics are definitely directly related, power metal just doesn't feel like a Dark Tower-y sound. One of the reasons I'm considering cutting Ease On Down the Road by Michael Jackson.

Oh! I forgot Someone Saved My Life Tonight! And I should check the lyric quotes King does at the beginning of chapters sometimes.

Do you remember any other songs that had strong places in the book like Hey Jude and Velcro Fly?

Wicked Witch has a good sound to it that isn't too heavy.

As for other songs? Not off the top of my head, no, but I'll see what I can think of.

I did wiki it, but I can't remember how, say, Careless Love tied in. If it were a quote at the beginning of a chapter or something Eddie sings to Susannah, or what. Maybe I'll just have to read the books again and write down page numbers.

It's the song that Susan was singing on her way to Rhea's.
