I got a really kickass CD from a coworker today, called "Proof of Youth" by the subject header. It is very addicting and happy and jumpy groovy. I love it.
I had to make signs for the circ desk, explaining how we only take certain payment methods, and I have a picture of a umbc idea with a broken picture and "anonymous" as the name. I feel so dirty. But I also know that NO ONE reads those signs, and it's tiny, so it shall be a true /b/tard who notices. Still. I feel a bit mischievous.
And let's see... yesterday was a glorious day off, in which I watched Blue Planet's episode about the Deep Ocean and all those crazies. Then I popped in Howl's Moving Castle and loved it even more. The first time I saw it was on my computer, a secret movie-cam version, and I had just plowed through the book the night before. That, in hindsight, wasn't too wise, because the text was too fresh in my mind, and the differences between the two prevented me from really appreciating the movie. This time I watched the movie first, and some weird DVD-Disney thing let's make everything vaguely pastel kinda pissed me off, but I got used to it, I guess. I read the book a few hours after, and I think that's the right way to go about things. I really plowed through that thing, I'm talking maybe 3 hours. It was frightening and I got a back ache from staying in one position so long.
But seriously, I love that movie. Like, Miyazaki's Howl is sooooo adorable. There were some gem moments throughout, real subtle body postures or movements that made me melt into goop.
And completely random, but I am wearing the most comfortable bra ever. It is cozy and awesome and I love it.
Ummmm.
Hi.
This is the picture that will forever, without fail, make me smile and goop-ify, make my day better, and increase all good feelings by nth degree:
