Adventure
Tonight has been hilarious so far. Dan and I decided to go for a walk like we always do when I go over to his house. It was raining a little bit when we left, but nothing bad, so we decided to keep walking. Eventually it started pouring and we decided we were already wet so might as well keep walking. It would let up, then rain, then let up, but it was fun. On the way back we turn into Dan's subdivision and we see a car slowing down and then I realize it's a cop. So Dan and I stop and the cop gets out and asks us what we are doing walking in the rain. We tell him that it wasn't raining when we started walking. He asked what time we started and we said about midnight and weren't sure what time it was now. So Dan looks at his phone and we discover it's almost one in the morning. We had been walking for about an hour in the rain. The cop asks for our ID's and takes down our information. Then he tells us that the reason he stopped us was because they had been getting a lot of calls about cars being broken into in the area, about a dozen or so of them, and it looked suspicious that two young men were out walking in the rain. We agreed that it was suspicious and Dan said we were sorry and the cop told us it was ok and that it wasn't against the law to go for a walk. Then he asks if either of us had been arrested before and we said no. He gave us back our ID's and we made our way back to Dan's in the pouring rain. After getting back to Dan's and drying off we sat around for a little bit and then decided to go driving around since it was two in the morning and we had nothing better to do. So we start driving and on the main road outside Dan's subdivision (164 now I believe) I hit this huge fucking puddle and the car was engulfed in water. It was cool as hell, but also scary since I couldn't see and was still moving at like 30 mph. Anyway, we're back at Dan's now and I think we're going to go watch some old cartoons.
