Drabble for the ever delightful goldy_dollar, and her prompt of Inara being bored and becoming addicted to a video game. I'm pretty damn certain it's not what she envision. I don't even know quite what this is. But it's... something?

*fond, fond memories of Tetris*
Oh how I remember my first experience, when a fellow at school informed me that if I played, I'd get addicted, and when I went to sleep that night I'd see little superimposed images of the blocks falling behind my eyelids. I scoffed! I played! And when I went to bed that night - gasp - there they were, little 'L' shapes and 'T' shapes and all the rest, falling, falling, falling....
Oh how I love tetris!!! *G*

Heheheh... and of course, this night would be something they 'DO NOT TALK ABOUT' *G* and I could just see the crew all curious as to what went on in her shuttle that night, and of course, drawing the completely wrong conclusion *giggle* But they might just prefer that....

Bwah! I hadn't even thought of that. Of course, it's a little sad, or was supposed to be, but something tells me in the morning they'd feel weirdly at peace, both afflicted, both sleepy, both blah about the world... And they would SO preferr the raunchy rumors to the truth!
"I fell asleep while Mal played Tetris", just doesn't have that whole... coolness to it. *G*

It is! And the music, I can hear it now.... Of course you know I'm going to have to go home a play tetris now, and it's all your fault! One time my brother and I rented a two player tetris, with two screens at the same time, and you competed against each other... it was the coolest version ever, but I never saw it again after that time *is sad*

Never going to happen!! He's just no dexterous enough. And he knows she would kill him before she knew it, and then she'd be sorry and sad and he doesn't want that, I think. So. He'll always lose at 24 so they have something in common!

There only seem to be sucky versions of tetris on line right now, due to some lawsuits, so I didn't play as long as I would have, had I found a good version. :o/ But it was still fun... somewhere, I actually have a hand held oldschool electronic game that has tetris on it... I may have to dig it out....
