Well, woke up around 7 or so this morning. Rolled around in my bed and found a new comfy spot to sleep in after hitting the snooze on my alarm about a gazzillion times. (okay, more like four because it goes off in 15 minute intervals) Anyway, got out of bed around 7:15(25)-ish and got breakfast (mmmmm Huney Bunches of Oats with Almonds... I've been in a bit of an almod fix lately....) and then just sat there after having eaten it. Couldn't muster up the energy to get my lazy butt off the comfy la-z-boy (or whatever) and start my morning ritual (shower, dress, brush teeth, dry hair, run out the door "love you! byyeeeee!" *slam*) when mom came out of her room and sat down across from me on the couch. She kinda gave me this look then looked at the t.v. (which I was *cough*avidly*cough* watching) "I guess you're not going to go to school today then?" I looked at her, mouth slightly agape from being glued to the commercials and said "Well, I don't want to, no, but that's more or less all up to you."
M-"Well, what classes do you have today?"
Me-"Uhm.... English, Physics, Trigonometry, and Independent Study?"
M-*funny look again*
Me-*different kind of funny look back*
M-"Will it hurt if you miss them?"
Me-"No. Nothing's going on in English, have some stuff do in Trig, and it's I.S., no worries there"
M-"What about physics"
Me-shoot, she caught me "uh... just these stupid plane projects *goes into speech about how stupid they are and why* and they aren't due till the end of next week. ... AND I need Merrell's help anyway!"
M-"Why hasn't the teacher helped you?"
Me-"he has..."
M-"Well, If I keep you home you're either going to clean or help me clean when I get home."
Me-"Ahhhhh, the alterior motives!"
M-shoot, she caught me "no, I like it when you're home too..."
Me-"mmmhhhmmm" *funny look, then goes back to t.v.*

I AM NOW THE PROUDEST, HAPPIEST, MOST ECSTATIC OWNER OF (that's right) HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE babay!
I love finding out you have more money than you think you do! Found out I had about 40 bucks last night, oh yes, I was doing a jig, and decided to do what? SPEND IT! oot oot! After a few minutes of searching online for locations that would sell it I sped on up to Wal-Mart and snagged it off the shelf as soon as I saw it. Then pounced on over to the Soundtrack section (which was despicable, all out of order and meshed with the karaoke section...) and was searching for the soundtrack to... uhm... Fiddler! but found The Producers first, so I snatched that one up. Listened to it all the way home. Rented (on Tiff's blockbuster card) The Corpse Bride(have yet to see) and Just Friends(OMG SO CUTE!!! *Huggles*) The main character(male)'s speech at the end is so.... Let's just say, Apolo Anton Ohno, mixed with that guy, perfection. LOL
Speaking of my darling Apolo (from the olympics of 2002, 2006) whom I fell in love with @ Salt Lake City is now much older, much more dedicated, and much hotter (grr baby grr!) I had him taped from this olympics ('cause I was never home) and he's just so well spoken and intelligent! Fell in love all over again... I think it's the eyes that do it for me XD No, I won't lie, the eyes are right up there with the hair... *sigh* LOL Y'know, I could deal with the fact that he's my height, that's no problem! lol But in the truth of the matter, he's an inspiration. Just after the olympic games in Salt Lake where he got the Korean in contention for his gold disqualified (for the Korean's own fault) he ended up becoming a huge deal over in Korea (south?) and they made fun of him, publicly tried to humilate him, even had death threats on him while he was there for competitions during the regular season. He had to walk with bodygaurds! BUT, while he was hear in the U.S. it was a totally different deal... he was like a god or something! (heh heh, two years ago he would have been to me! But i've grown up now... heh heh) Anyway, he was getting the lush life, getting to run around with movie stars and all sorts of stuff. Eventually, though, he decided it wasn't for him. He did what it would be really hard for a lot of people to do. He set aside his popularity because he wanted to get his mind back in the game. He kinda became a recluse after that, only working on his sport and conditioning, and training. He wanted to be focused, and that's such a... well, an ispiration. I know that word is really cheesy, but still. It's like he's transformed from 8th grade crush to senior year role model... He's just so dedicated! (Plus, now he lives in the Olympic Training Center in... *drumrole* COLORADO SPRINGS!!!!!!!! i knew colorado was good for something along with Kir!) LOL, okay, so the little girl crush shines through, but why not?
well, I'm sure you've heard enough of my ramblings for now, so I'm off to watch How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days and Howl's Moving Castle(in Japanese because I was too tired to read subtitles... that's right, I watched it last night too...) LOL TTYL!
