Back in Black

The more I use Facebook, the more I miss LiveJournal.

This journal is from a bygone era, when I was awake nights.
Most of my friends were on IRC, and I'd spin songs for them on my self-centered radio program.

Where have I been since then?

I've found love. A real, culpable love that makes other people sick to witness.

I've been to yet another college.

I've had, and left three jobs.

I accomplished my goal of working for the fencing booth.

I've journeyed to Japan.

I've manned up.

I've grown up a little from when I last posted.

I've grown up a lot from when I first posted.

I've blown up my car.

I've won towels.

I've discovered that it takes very little to feel like I've got everything.

I've eaten things I can't describe.

I've eaten a shepherd's pie that made me weep, softly, into my napkin.

I've made friends and lost some others.

I can't believe now how hard I tried to be weird and different. I know now how normal I really am, and how abnormal this makes me.

I've terrified people for a living!

I've learned to cook.

I've joined a gym.

I've discovered that I have a superpower.

I've gained fifty pounds, lost fifty pounds, and gained fifty pounds. I'm now trying to get rid of some of it.
