Cabin Fever Temp is Risin'
Phhhhttttt!! I still have a whole week till my fanfiction writing class starts and a little over two weeks till I go to Chicago for WinchestMidwest 2010 !!
At least I have two ideas for my writing class and have begun to randomly write notes about the stories. One story idea is for Supernatural and the other is for the movie Shelter. I've also picked up a book on writing and have been downloading grammar notes to appease my giddy impatience. English and Lit were two of my best classes in High School but in college the classes were WAY too serious and I had to call NO JOY and dropped out.
Oh fanfiction, where were you in the early 90's? Beyond the X-Files and Twin Peaks books I just didn't know this world existed. I feel better to be a late bloomer than not to have had the discovery at all!
I've also entered a button contest for WinchestMidwest, celebrating Supernatural's 100th Episode. I'm not too crafty with photoshop but it was fun screwing around at work with it!! These will all be on traditional round buttons. The first one is my favorite. Even though the 100th episode is in season 5, I picked the season 4 title block because the dark raven-like wings are gothic and will probably show better than the blood-splatter of season 5.
