"Are you okay?" He felt a substance as he held her that he knew he shouldn't be feeling and that worried him. "Can you walk?" Tony asked, anxious to get them both to a safer location and get Anna medical attention.

"C-Can't... move..." She rasped weakly, eyes beginning to droop shut as her hand fell from his cheek and she coughed. Blood trickled from her mouth as she started bleeding more from her neck, the blade having just knicked her right carotid artery.

"T-Tony..."

"Okay," he nodded, taking a deep breath, "Okay. I'll get you help. Everything's going to be okay. I promise. You stay with me, Anna!"

Tony lifted her into his arms. "Stay with me!"

"On... your s-six... DiNozzo..." She sputtered, her voice dying at the end of his name as she fought to keep her eyes open.

"I know you are, Anna. I know. Keep your eyes open for me!"

When he got her across the street and back into her house, he laid her on the couch and quickly scanned her residence, clearing it. Hurrying back, he grabbed a bath towel on his way in, placing it gently against her wound to soak up the blood, but applying only gentle pressure so as not to occlude her airway.

Tony reached for his phone, dialing the only person he could think of right now, praying that he'd pick up.

That's when Tony felt a sharp pain jolting through his chest and shoulder. He winced, and reached his hand up to the point of origin. Feeling moisture, he looked down, realizing his shirt was soaked with blood.

He fell to floor, leaning back against the couch as his respirations increased out of fear, but trying to forget his own pain so he could focus on Anna.

Gibbs was at home working on his boat when his cell rang. Putting down his sandpaper, he flipped his phone open and answered gruffly. "Gibbs."

Anna looked down at Tony as she fought to stay awake, and then she noticed the blood and her eyes widened. "Tony... h-h-hurt..." She choked out, motioning to his injured shoulder.

"B-Boss," he stuttered as he breathed heavily, beginning to feel lightheaded and dizzy. "Anna... She... N-Needs you... Needs help."

Tony shivered as shock finally began to set in and he glanced around slowly, the room spinning. "I-I'm okay," he tried assuring her.

"DiNozzo, what happened? Where are you?" Gibbs frowned, dropping everything and grabbing his gun as he bolted up the steps. When there was no response, Gibbs cursed and hung up, calling McGee to trace DiNozzo's cell signal. When McGee told him he was at Anna's apartment building, Gibbs had McGee send a bus over before speeding to the scene.

"Don't l-leave me..." She rasped, tears in her eyes as she lightly curled her fingers around his shirt near his shoulder.

Tony could hear Gibbs' voice, but it was muffled and gibberish. He coughed lightly and his cell dropped to the ground. That's when Tony slumped over, unresponsive.

"T-Tony... Tony!" Anna cried out as loudly as she could before falling off the couch and laying her head weakly in his lap as the door burst open to reveal Gibbs and two paramedics. The medics rushed in and began working on both injured victims, tears falling from Anna's eyes as she looked at Tony.

Tony never flinched as he was tended to, and Gibbs hurried to both of his agents, fearful.

Pulling Anna off of Tony, he looked her over, holding her in his arms. "What happened, Anna?" Gibbs just hoped she'd be able to get her mind off of Tony's injuries long enough for him to get answers.

"Tony... he got shot..." She rasped, coughing and spitting up blood as her head fell back against Gibbs' arm, revealing the long, ear to ear gash on her neck. "S-s-saving me."

After that last syllable, her eyes fluttered shut and she went limp in Gibbs' arms.

Gibbs nodded in understanding as he leaned in closer to hear her better. "Saving you from what?" As she coughed, he rolled her onto her side to expunge the blood from her airway and that's when he noticed the laceration.

"Morasca!" Gibbs yelled as her body felt like dead weight in his arms. "What the hell happened in here?"

Pulling out his cell, his blood-covered hands quickly called for another bus. He checked Anna for a pulse, and she had one, barely, but it was still there. After he called for a second squad, he dialed McGee's number again, needing him at the scene.

Tony had two GSW's- One to his right shoulder, and one to the left side of his chest. He also had decreased lung sounds on that same side and it was getting harder to bag him. After intubating him, they performed a chest decompression. One of the medics continued bagging him while the other worked on Anna until the second squad arrived.

"McGee." He answered his phone, clicking of his computer crackling over to Gibbs' phone as he went. There was a pause and he realized it was Gibbs. "Boss? What's wrong?"

Anna remained limp in Gibbs' arms while he yelled. If he were to look around, he'd see Anna's weapon five feet away and no spatter patterns indicating that Tony was shot and Anna's throat was slit here. No, they'd come back here after the assault.

"I don't know! That's what I need you for! Grab your gear and get here! Got two agents down, McGee!"

Anna needed medical attention, and she needed it fast. As Gibbs went to stand up with her, that's when the other medics rushed in with their equipment, and Gibbs gently set Anna down on the floor.

He stepped back, giving the EMS personnel room to work and giving orders for them to take both victims to Bethesda.

Gibbs blew out a breath and put his hand on his head as he took in the scene. He knew he couldn't allow the injuries of his agents to cloud his judgment. He needed to be on top of his game. He needed to focus. They needed him to ( ... )

"On my way, Boss." McGee hung up and grabbed his gear, calling Ziva and Abby to let them know that they had two agents down and that they were gonna be put to work tonight.

As Anna was loaded onto the stretcher, her eyes fluttered open and she weakly grabbed Gibbs' hand, meeting his eyes with a look swirling with emotions. Pain, fear for Tony, guilt about Tony's wounds, sadness, anger, and just a hint of defeat. "B-boss--" She started but found she couldn't speak. Knowing that he and Abby signed, she began to sign as much as she could.

It's all my fault. I'm sorry. Tell Tony I'm sorry.
