Poor Snopes.com, they work so hard....

So if you head over to the urban-legend skeptics website, snopes.com, you might notice something sort of interesting

There are no less than 44 entries of rumors, gossip, and outright myths about Barack Obama. Of these, four four of them are true (And of those four, one is a tiny shred damning, [the bit about him not putting hand over heart ONCE during the national anthem] one is a prediction Kenneday made about when we might have a black president, one is an essay written [the 'true' part being that the guy actually wrote it, not the negative opinion he expresses], one is the big deal they made out of him removing the flag from the tail of his jet, [though they make sure to mention he left the flag on the side of plane in tact])

The other 40 are complete lies. Over on the McCain side, there are only perhaps a dozen entries, most of those rumors are positive, and most are deemed true.

I just have to ask: When you have it verified that your side needs to rely on more lies to keep your worldview in tact, isn't it time for a new world view?

The election is nigh. I'm cautiously jubilent.
