I used the Lambda Driver to protect the cockpit as the rest of the machine was destroyed. It's a trick I picked up from a certain cockroach.

Well at least SOMETHING good came out of that mess.

In answer to your question: It went about as normal whenever Silentium appears. The GDF got him up against the wall, then he ran away. He was able to capture Bullet, though. We haven't heard from them since.

I assume there's already plans in the works to get him back.

Intelligence has been working overtime since the FIRST time Silentium showed up. They haven't found a shred of info about where Silentium's base is. There's not a lot we can do.

Considering that enemy's attitude, I don't think he'll leave us alone for long. When he comes back, if we can capture him, then we can pump him for information.

Only problem is, next time we won't have a Lambda Driver.

Defeating a unit with a Lambda Driver with conventional weaponry is... theoretically possible, but it definitely puts us at a disadvantage.

Speaking as someone who has fought lambda driver equipped units without one to back her up, there's a world of difference between "theoretically possible" and "practical in the middle of combat."

Well, if there's anyone who could bridge that gap, it's the GDF.

That, or we can harass Mithril for a new Lambda Driver-equipped AS or two.

I had heard we had no way of making new Lambda Drivers, but maybe that's changed? I heard that OTHER Whispered Girl you found a few years back is finally giving out something useful, though they're very hush hush on exactly what.

Well for all that they love to talk, Intelligence really knows what they're doing.

Looks like you're going to have to get used to an M9 again, for now.

I was just thinking about what to use while the ARX-7 is out of commission. Do we have a spare?

I...don't know actually. I think the one you used to use got assigned to someone else when you got the Arbalest. I figured you'd want something you're familiar with.

M9s are getting a bit out of date, though.
