Someone in Mithril Intelligence decided that my abilities weren't sufficient for this assignment. Another agent was assigned to protect Chidori, and I was recalled to Mithril for independent operation.

In the end, I managed to convince them to allow me to return to my position with the GDF. It wasn't easy, but I suspect my performance against Gates was a deciding factor.
