While it's obviously a good thing that the moon's descent was stopped, this also likely means that internal strif on Earth will increase again. People are less likely to turn on each other when an omnipresent threat is looming over all of them - now that it's gone, the usual acts of war and terrorism will almost certainly increase back to their former levels.
