Goals
Things I want to accomplish this year:
1. Finish my boreal burn scar paper and submit it to Applied and Environmental Microbiology.
2. Finish the data analysis for my tundra fire paper and get a manuscript finished. Since I don’t have all the information I need to write this paper, it may be difficult to finish by December.
3. Finish at least part 1 of the Rosetta Stone package for Swedish.
4. Finish my novel to the draft manuscript stage.
Things I want to accomplish in the next 10 years:
1. Get a stable, high-paying job that lets me pay all the bills AND save for retirement.
2. Pay back my parents all the money they’ve lent to us since Seth and I moved to Alaska. I have lost track of how much that is, but it is a lot.
3. Pay off all of Seth’s and my debts.
4. Take a trip to Morocco.
5. Find an agent and get paid for publishing my fiction.
6. Finish editing my mother’s short stories, and publish them in a nice hardbound book with a fancy cover.
