A Tuesday like a Monday
I hear people say, "We get a vacation day on Monday, which is good: I hate Mondays, and we'll get to skip over it and start work on Tuesday!" Do not be fooled: The first day of the workweek, whether it falls on Tuesday, Wednesday, or whatever, will ALWAYS be that weeks Monday. There is no escaping the inevitability of Monday, which isn't so much the name of weekday as it is a state of time and space.
My son got his first REAL haircut this weekend, and he did very well for about 10 minutes - he just sat there, content to have his hair cut. But he was very verbal about wanting to leave, and fortunately for us, the haircutting process was nearing completion. Without all of that hair, he looks like an entirely different baby.
That's all I have to tell you at the moment. Unless you'd like to know that I'm eating an apple.
