Overexposure
The entertainment industry has become much too transparent and obvious in their attempts to grab headlines. One need not look further than the whole Janet Jackson fiasco. She exposed a breast . . . wow! No other musician/celebrity has ever done THAT!
The concept of using "sex" to sell records, movies tickets, bolster ratings, etc., has played itself out in my opinion. There was nothing "shocking" about the Super Bowl halftime show. I was much more surprised at the apologies issued by Timberlake and Jackson - did they really expect anyone to buy that crap?
