Kisara absently nuzzled the kits, who were sleeping peacefully, curled up against her side. The only time they were still lately, it seemed, was when they were asleep. Thankfully they still did a good bit of that... When they were awake, they got into everything. Luckily they weren't turning her prematurely silver... yet, anyway

Teena was sleeping, too, curled up quietly with one arm resting over her expanding stomach almost protectively. She shifted a little in her sleep, sighing quietly.

Kisara lifted her head, ears flicking towards Teena. She apparently wasn't awake, though, just restless.

She settled her head back down on her paws, watching her mate quietly.

Rather than settling into deeper sleep again, she just got more restless. Her body started to take on the singing tension that meant she was having one of her nightmares.

Kisara stretched over to lick Teena's cheek in an effort to wake her up, whining softly.

[agent_wylde]

She woke up with a sharp gasp, freezing for a moment before realization of where she was sank in. Then she relaxed.

"Damn it..."

[agent_black_]

'Koishii?'

[agent_wylde]

"I'm fine... I'm okay..."

She sat up, rubbing her eyes a little. "Awake."

[agent_black_]

The kits squirmed around, half-awake for a few seconds, but since things were quiet again, they quickly went back to sleep.

'Alright?'

[agent_wylde]

"I'm alright... Just a dream," she murmured, shaking her head.

[agent_black_]

'Do you want to talk about it?' She nuzzled Teena's cheek.

[agent_wylde]

"It wasn't anything new," Teena muttered, rubbing Kisara's ears gently.

[agent_black_]

'Not an answer.' Kisara purred softly.

[agent_wylde]

"I guess not... It was that time the HQ-fic made me crazy... Only Gaelon didn't manage to disrupt my concentration in time..."

She grimaced. It wasn't exactly an uncommon thing. Sometimes her nightmares were just straight re-enactments. Sometimes her subconscious was feeling nasty and decided to show her how bad it could have been.

'S'alright. Didn't happen.' Kisara replied sleepily, nuzzling her hand. 'Wasn't your fault, either...'

"I know, koishii."

She idly stroked Kisara's fur.

She continued purring once again. 'Worried?'
