I'm not used to this kind of weather...

I could use a thick blanket and a hot cup of cocoa right about now.

*after snorting at the above*

I have blankets I can spare you.

Really? That'd be great.

The riverlands can get pretty cold this time of year. We easterners learn a few good ways to keep warm.

......

You weren't going to suggest I curl up with you, were you? I've already received that offer today.

Sheva, let me be perfectly clear. If you wanted it, any time, cold or not, nothing short of a terminal illness that had already reached the point of terminal would stop me from answering your call.

But if a little intimacy between friends is not to your taste, my other favorite way to stay warm is tea. Which I have plenty of as well.

I think you've found another way to chase away the cold.

I'm positively blushing. You've got quite the silver tongue.

There's no need for flattery here. You've already got me wrapped around your little finger, you know.

[amused]

I'll bet you say that to all the girls.

I'm nothing special, you know. Especially compared to some of the women here.

Almost all of that.

As far as my opinion goes, you're the most drop-dead gorgeous woman here, and believe me, I have not been keeping blinders on as far as the women of this city are concerned.

I don't know why you'd say you're not special. Everything I've seen says otherwise.

Ashoka... thank you.

I don't know what to say.

[She's definitely flattered, from the sounds of it]

You could say when would be a good time to bring your new blanket by.

Do you think it's big enough for two people? I wouldn't mind sharing it for awhile.

Hold on, let me check - you know, I think we can squeeze two people under here, but we might have to get close.

[soft laugh]

I guess that's alright, since it's between friends.

Nothing like friends to keep each other warm - in their hearts, and in their arms.
