For those that care, I've been posting at least one article a day to http://www.modernmythology.net for the past month. (And before that, it was more haphazard but there's still a lot there.)
So if you feel like reading...
...I don't even think to login to LJ most of the time anymore. On the other hand, I've been contemplating deleting my FB and possibly Twitter with increasing regularity, so who knows- whether that means I frequent here more or delete this too and just give the entirety of "social media" the middle finger.
Honestly, if I thought that it might not cut off some potential new people from my work, I probably would've a long time ago. The illusion of contact, illusion of conversation, etc. that it provides isn't satisfying to me. Frankly, I find it kind of depressing. Especially in lieu of, you know. A real social life.
