peekabooby brought up a pretty good topic in her LJ recently and it reminded me that I ought to address a particular issue in regards to fanfiction & netiquette, as views on fanfiction range far & wide.
If anyone here only added me to their F-list because of my fanfiction and you otherwise have no interest in me, my projects or whatever I post, and every time I post you skim (or don't even have me filtered on the journals you read) and you are basically keeping me on your F-list out of courtesy, please know that I will not be butt-hurt if you de-friend me. You are under no obligation to be my "friend" just because you added me to your F-list when I was actively writing fanfiction!
The last thing I want to do is make people feel cornered!
I can promise you that I will not be posting fanfiction anytime soon. I don't want to say "never" but the possibility is very, very slim. I can, however, say that original fiction might be posted on Glassofwin sometime in the future.
