man that was a fun trip. i think the highlight for me was playing dance dance revolution.

Oh, and I still have a couple of notes you wrote me back in middle school! Since they've lasted this long I don't have the heart to throw them away. : )

notes! i have a whole shoe box full of notes! they are now crammed in some box in a storage area. i can't wait to open it up and read through them all. maybe i will wait til right before our hs reunion.

wow, i had totally forgotten about that ... i still don't remember all the details, but i do remember my parents being baffled.

oooh man... was that the night that forrest and adam critchlow etc left christmas trees on your yard? and we put shaving cream on forrests truck causing the paint to flake off (that is even more than it already was)? and someone (adam or aaron paul i think) tied old christian music tapes to our cars... hehehe....

middle school sleepovers with you, courtney, and michelle... and i think ang once or twice too even. especially new years eve eighth grade... watching the mtv countdown which had the smashing pumpkins playing at midnight, drinking coke until it was impossible to sleep anyway, and wondering if your brother was going to come home and accidentally step on us. good times.

oh and one other memory which is slightly less flattering to you but still one of the funniest i have from high school... standing around albertsons waiting for a ride after a football game, me and ang awkwardly watching you and athena make out with travis and the log (whose real name i cant even remember. john? josh?). i think that was ninth grade... hilarious as hell in retrospect

oh no worries, i was mostly unfazed by the experience (i mean, i have an older brother, it was hardly the first time i was an unwilling voyeur)... honestly, the most disturbing part to me was how it was possible that girls like you and mary ended up with guys who definitely werent good enough for you. of course that was before i got over my naivete and realized that great women are somehow ALWAYS ending up with losers and jerks...

not always :) i think most just have to get that out of their system ... some do it for many years, and some do it for a very short period of time.
