OH DEAR GOD.
For WEEKS my mom has been creating this MASSIVE ball of elastic bands as a joke birthday gift for a friend. It's some kind of "inside joke" that is apparently too complicated to explain. There have been elastic bands everywhere, she's sent my boyfriend out for more, it's crazy.
So my mom's friend is here, and has apparently just opened her gift.
And APPARENTLY the inside joke involed a ball of STRING, not ELASTICS. THUS, it's more of a WTF? gift.
My dad's reaction: "Couldn't you just play along?" Haha.
