1. Do you remember the episode/scene/chapter that you first started shipping 5?
I was SO not here for Abraham kidnapping Katrina at the end of the first season and then was surprisingly intrigued by their scenes in 2x01, so that was the first little spark. And then in 2x05, when I realized he was going after her to try to save her, not because he was trying to force her to come back with him, that made that little spark turn into a tiny flame. But then in 2x07, when he fought to try and save her, struggling through sunlight while practically on fire but never ceasing while she was screaming his name… Oh yeah, the tiny flame roared to life like a wildfire and the Katless ship sailed for me big time! \o/ ;)
2. Have you ever read fanfiction about 2?
You know, I actually have only read one or two fics for Twelve/Clara but I’ve devoured as many vids for them as I can! ;) I’m definitely on the lookout for some fics, though, now as well. ;)
3. Has a picture of 4 ever been your screen saver/profile picture/tumblr id?
Ohhhh, yeahhhh! ;) I’ve had a ton of Ten/Donna screen savers over the years, some that I’ve made, some that I’ve picked up from the very talented artists out there! :D
4. If 3 were to suddenly break up today, what would your reaction be?
Well, considering that Oliver and Felicity pretty much got together then broke right back up in the first ep of season 3, :( I don’t have to guess what my reaction would be: *EPIC SAD FACE* I was expecting it but it didn’t make it any easier to see! Their chemistry is SO strong, though, and they’re just SO right for each other, I’m really hoping that we’ll see some much happier times ahead for them! *keeps fingers crossed* ;)
5. Why is 1 so important?
Barry/Caitlin is important to me at least because they developed out of the chemistry of the actors, much like how I fell for Oliver/Felicity. I fully expect Barry/Iris and Caitlin/Ronnie to be endgame and I do ship them both to a degree (I love Iris with Eddie right now, though, and I want more of them before their inevitable breakup happens :( Caitlin and Ronnie have such angst and tragedy to them that that definitely does appeal to my Inner Shipper as well ;) ). In the meanwhile, though, I would love to have seen Barry and Caitlin get a chance at unexpected romance. I really don’t think the show is going to go that way, though, not with Ronnie’s return already in motion. But hey, never say never! And even if they never become canon, I’ll certainly still continue to enjoy shipping it! ;)
6. Is 4 a funny ship or a serious ship?
Ten/Donna is totally both! ;) There was a great deal of angst with them, in particular with what happened to Donna at the end (which I’m still pretty much in denial of *sticks fingers in ears and goes la la la very loudly*) but they had SO MUCH FUN together before that! I love them so much and their goofy sense of adventure mixed with the moments of seriousness has made them an epic couple of all times for me!
7. Out of all your ships listed, which ship has the most chemistry?
Oh, they all have such chemistry together, I could never pick one with the most! *looks shocked that this meme would even ASK such a thing* :P ;)
8. Of all the ships, which ship has the strongest bond?
Argh, yet again, I don’t think I could pick. I could see either of ANY of the couples going to the ends of the Earth and far beyond to save the other! *wimps out and declares a five-way tie* :P ;)
9. How many times have you read/watched 2’s fandom?
More than I can count, lol! ;) Besides just watching the eps, I’ve been on a big Twelve/Clara kick for the past few weeks and I think I’ve watched every vid on YT for them! ;)
10. Which ship lasted the longest?
Just in sheer amount of time, that would have to be Katrina/Abraham, considering that their tumultuous relationship began two and a half centuries before present day! ;)
11. How many times, if ever, has 5 broken up?
Katrina and Abraham broke up once, quite disastrously, when she spurned him for Ichabod, whom she then married. Abraham, betrayed, full of anger and jealousy, then became the Horseman of Death over that. So yeah, lots of BAD, CATASTROPHIC, LITERALLY END OF THE WORLD STUFF happened with that break up! ;)
12. If the world was suddenly to thrust into a zombie apocalypse, which ship would make it out alive, 1 or 3?
Hee, a Flarrow team-up has already pretty much proven that that would result in Barry, Caitlin, Oliver AND Felicity all making it out alive! ;)
13. Did 4 ever have to hide their relationship for any reason?
I’d say that Ten and Donna spent most of their time hiding their relationship from THEMSELVES, lol! ;) They did soooo much “Oh, we’re not together! No, we’re not married!” that it makes me feel like the lady and the timelord doth protest WAY too much! ;)
14. Is 5 still together?
Katrina is still married to Ichabod but as Abraham recently pointed out to his former best friend, Katrina continues to come back to HIM, over and over again. I think if Abraham gets a redemption arc, it will be almost 100% because Katrina does love him, at least in some way, and believes that the mortal man she once knew is still alive somewhere within the Horseman of Death. I think it’s definitely canon by this point that she wants to save him. And I think there are many ways that they could end up together in canon, especially given how much of a fan UNfavorite Katrina is to so many people. :( If they do plan on writing her out, I could see them doing it in such a way that would put her with Abraham.
15. is 1 canon?
Sadly, not even a little bit. But I’ll continue to hope for some Barry/Caitlin goodness right up until the point where it becomes irrefutably impossible! (And even then I’ll continue waving my AU shipper flag, lol! ;) )
16. If all five ships were put in a couple’s hunger games, which couple would win?
Hm, Barry and Caitlin would definitely not want to kill any of the other couples, so they’d try to find a way to use his super-speed and her smarts to get them all out of there. Oliver and Felicity would definitely team-up with Barry and Caitlin to figure a way out. (Personally, I think Oliver wouldn’t want to kill anybody else but if he felt legitimately that Felicity’s life was in danger… then he’d do it.)
Twelve and Ten would probably not get along very well until Clara and Donna smacked some sense into their respective Doctors (I’d pay good money to see Donna smack Twelve, though, I’ve gotta say. Their snark would be GLORIOUS, lol! ;) ) and they also would do their best to escape.
Abraham, however, would kill ‘em all. ‘Cause, you know, Horseman of Death and all that? It’s kinda his thing. :P ;) Especially if you throw in that he would be defending the love of his life (and death ;) )? Oh yeahhhh, he’d be doing his best to cut a swath of destruction through the rest of the gang, no doubt! O_O
So if it really came down to killing, then Team Katless would pretty much come out “a head.” Ba-dum-tsss! *rim-shot* *pun intended* :P ;)
17. Has anyone ever tried to sabotage 5’s ship?
Um, yeah. *points at Ichabod who is currently married to Katrina* Abraham’s former bestie is pretty much a Katless buzzkill, I’d say, lol! ;)
18. Which ship(s) would you defend to death and beyond?
All of them! *looks fierce, kinda like a fluffy kitten trying to hiss and arch her back* :P ;)
19. Have you spent hours a day going through 3’s tumblr page?
Collectively, I’d say that I’ve spent DAYS if not weeks, going through the Olicity tag by now, lol! ;)
20. IF AN EVIL WITCH DESCENDED FROM THE SKY AND TOLD YOU THAT YOU HAD TO PICK ONE OF THE FIVE SHIPS TO BREAK UP FOREVER, WHICH SHIP WOULD YOU SINK?
What an evil question! *does fluffy kitten hiss again* ;) Ahem. If I haaaaad to pick one to break up, it would probably have to be Barry/Caitlin, not because I don’t love them, but because I feel they’re really the least likely of the still-on-the-air ships to ever be made canon. :( *wipes away a Snowbarry tear* :( ;)
