I tried on some shoes today. Wore them around the store for about 20 minutes while I browsed other shoes. They seemed pretty comfy, so I bought them and brought them home. Within 1/2 hour, my knees hurt, arches hurt, back hurt.
Apparently, I won't be wearing anything with any sort of heel again. I've had trouble with arch pain for a couple of years. Last summer was spent lazing on the couch, and the trouble mostly cleared up. I'm not willing to risk a recurrence, so the shoes are going back tomorrow.
