calsea and I have been invited to a Cajun party tomorrow night. My contribution to the soiree is gumbo, which I haven't made in years. Judging from the look and the smell (which I can't present here,) I may have outdone myself.
My only fear is that as my food preferences tend to run to the incendiary, I may have made it too spicy for some folks. I held back from my normal spice level, but we'll find out tomorrow when I "correct the seasoning."
