Sure, why not, have some poetry.
These are the things I know are true.
I've been content to let history pass me by.
With every minute a memory of you and I
We were friends longer than lovers
(Yet I love you, then and now)
Our pride blinded us, our duty distracted us
We wandered the galaxy, searching, seeking
for what we'd one day find on the sand.
(It is possible to kiss and cry all at once)
We saw each other
as two halves of imperfections
After endless seasons of night, morning, noon
In the blink of an eye, on that day in June
You-were swept away. You fell through the cracks.
and I-I did not look back.
I carried on
(We were most at home among the stars)
A/N: This was inspired by K/S fanfic, but it morphed into something..else. I was also 18 and on some really powerful ADHD meds at the time. TL;DR: THIS IS WHAT A SLASH FAN ON DRUGS LOOKS LIKE.
