Pass the Commandos, Please.
So, we all got the "no cell phones on the sales floor" ultimatum this morning, which is fine. We really shouldn't have them. (There's a long story that goes with some of this, the details of which I will spare you. They aren't important.)
But the caveat was "if you need to run back to quickly check something, so long as it's in the back room and not on the floor, that's fine. Just don't hide back there unless you're on your break."
So tell me why I just got told, as I rapidly checked my twitter feed and was just about to close it down, "if I see your phone make it back into your hands one more time I'm going to make you keep it in your purse all day" (which, incidentally, is where it is anyway)?
My reply to that was "It's already in my purse and I've only been back here twice."
To which I was informed, "That's twice too many."
Am I crazy or did the story and rules change somewhere along the way and nobody told me?
