Lol. It could've been worse. She could've been known as part of the fanfic community, tarnishing indie authors AND fanfic writers. Remember those past blow ups? Heh.

True, but indie authors hopefully get paid a miniscule amount of money for their efforts, whereas fanfic writers don't (unless you're officially writing tie-in material, in which case I a) salute you and b) am jealous of you with every fiber of my being because *I* want to write fanfic for money *pout*).

I'm more wanting to beat her with a heavy, blunt object because I am potentially going to be in such a position someday, whereas if she was a fanfic writer, it wouldn't bother me much because I honestly don't give a crap. Her critics would have been a LOT more visceral had it been fandom-related.
