So my end of term schedule is pretty hectic at the moment. Not only do I have an entire 'nother quarter of Biology to do, a Spanish Market make-up, and a Math review, I also have a short story, a speaking activity, and a script due for my Writing class.
Even better? The script (which I haven't started) in due in Rough form on Monday.
Hurrah.
I'm really having trouble with this. I've never written a script before, and it's hard to imagine something within the confines of the stage. It's difficult to think that settings will have to be simple, characters few, and that I won't be able to do any of the little twirks that I love to do when writing a short story. I am absolutely lost.
On another subject, since I actually managed to finish Nano again this year (surprise) I decided to take advantage of the Lulu offer again. (Lulu.com will bind and send you a free copy of your book, no obligation, due January 16) I went through the entire process: edited, formatted, made a cover, uploaded -- and found out that this year the offer is only for US citizens.
I had a look through the Nano boards, and the Lulu guy says that if we have the book sent to a friend in the US, we can still take part in the offer. Problem is, I don't HAVE any (rl) friends in the States.
So here is my plea: can I borrow someone's address? Please? All it would entail is passing the package on to me when it's delivered to you. I'll pay postage (in whatever way is convenient). I just really don't want to have to miss out after putting all that work into it. Just think about it, please?
