Lovely Kamloops. Lovely, fecking cold Kamloops. There is no snow here, which is good as it helps minimize my risk of injury, but it is bloody chilly. I have been out getting reaquainted with driving today, as I will be using my mum's car over the summer. Me, behind the wheel of a car. Be afraid, be very afraid.
Have spent the last few days just hanging out, catching up on news with the parents. A childhood friend of mine (we're a month and a half apart. Apparently, when he was born he looked like Gerald Ford. Fortunately, he's grown out of that) is getting married in 2007. I mentioned that a cousin of mine (on the other side) is also getting married that year.
Stepfather: Who's he?
Mothra: The one who peed on the couch.
Me: He's past that now.
You pee on the couch once and you never live it down.
We also had our gift exchange. In addition to going shopping at Old Navy, I get to go shopping at the Bay. Huzzah gift cards!
More I wanted to say, but must go. Dinner's nearly ready.
