Yesterday, Grandma's little angel Blossom, passed away at home with her mummy and family around her. It was terribly sad. She weighed almost nothing at the end. She was just a little bundle of bones and skin. I can never express the pain that is felt at the loss of our best friends. They are family and when they pass, it just plain hurts. Grandma is devastated and is still tearing up today.
We buried her at Kincardine, in our olive grove. She was buried with her favourite toys, some of her show ribbons, her lead, her coat and grandma put in a Porcelain guardian angel to watch over her. She is now with our other lost family who are already buried up there, chasing rabbits and kangaroos.
She was a beautiful girl, in manner and spirit and we will all miss her keenly. Even Jul, her daughter, who disliked the very sight of her was nice to her before she passed, they even had a little sniff before blossy couldn’t stand any longer, and crumpled.
As I said. Devasted.
