Ok, So recently someone i know has made a big fit over the letters FAB on UC hill being changed to Fag for a whole like 2 hours before it was fixed. He's being completly stupid over it. I mean just because some immature person did this doesn't mean the WHOLE university is immature, nor was it any kind of "hate" crime. You have to face it, with over 20 000 stupids on campus, there is BOUND to be a few idiots who will take advantage of any situation like that. It wasn't any gay hate or targetted crime. If the person's name was easily changable to any other "dirty" word someone would have done it. Bock -> Cock and whatnot.
I honestly believe in Gay equality and being semi-PC, but I think these kind of activists are stupid and really only make matters worse for the rest of us. I wonder if they realize that by whining and screaming over the simple lame joke they are really being as immature as the people who changed the letters.......morons.....
