Ok, when Angel (from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe of course) does his pouty confused face, I just want to JUMP HIM!!!!!! It's so adorable....why can't he be gay, not be famous and be madly in love with me *sigh

I agree it has its moments, and it is by far better than Rufus' or the original, but mainly i find it too slow, I can feel it dragging, it needs to be slightly faster than she does it. (Using my sound card I speeded the performance up while maintaining pitch, and it sounded best about 1.13x the speed she does it

also, jeff buckley has done a cover of the song.. and we all know that jeff buckley is the most fabulous man in music ever. allison and i once agreed that if a man ever serenaded one of us with a jeff buckley song, we'd have no choice but to marry him right away :-)
seriously, it's a good cover. he's really really good :-)
I'm aware of that one as well, to mark it with the rest, I gave it a 5/10
It has a nice tempo, and his voice is nice for the most part, he suffers from "whining" syndrome, which is granted very hard to avoid in this time of song, the other problem is that he starts out VERY unconvincing, like he doesn't care, he gets better as he goes in, but he never does convince me he has a clue what he's singing about in this song. He gets emotion in there eventually, but neevr manages to make the Hallelujah's convincing, it sounds "chore-ish" Like he's only singing them because they are the chorus. Also, once or twice he mumbles a word or two, not good.
Just my opinion, but I don't like his cover. Also, I think the female voice is MUCH more suited to this song than the male voice.
