I was thinking lately about all the Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Big Bad's from every season, and which ones i thought where the worst. So first I had to try and remember who WERE the Big Bad's.

Just so it doesn't take up your whole page, and PLEASE COMMENT DAMN YOU!!!!! )

The Master The kid (aka The Annointed One) wasn't really a sidekick, he was like the 'go do this so I can get out of my invisible bubble' kid. I would say Luke (killed in the 2hr/part pilot) was more of a sidekick, but he became dust so not so sidekickish.
Angelus/Drusilla/Spike It was Angel's fault for turning back into Angelus, he had sex with a minor but in the process we got to see a lot of David Borenaz's yummy yummy self.
Drusilla The cons could not be more off. LoL She may be insane but she's definately the wolf in sheep's clothing. Especially if you see her later on Angel.
Spike He was a reluctant good guy, I'm also not totally convinced he didn't want his soul. I mean he wanted Buffy, but she no longer wanted him, so maybe in his head he thought that if he got a soul she would love him, because hey she loved Angel and he's got a soul.
The Mayor His anal retentive-ness is totally believable in a bad guy, everything must be in it's place or I'll eat you. His relationship with Faith, although at times 'creepy uncle'ish is very believable IMO, and I never see her as actually working FOR him as much as she worked WITH him.
Faith pretty much ties in with what I said about the Mayor.
Adam He was a mixture of robotics, demons and one damn sexy man. I think he did a good job playing the Frankenstien of the season. He didn't get enough face time though.
Prof. Walsh I loved her character, she didn't last long and that sucks, but overall she's one of the more believable characters, I personally wouldn't consider her a big bad at all. Not even a 'bad guy'.
Glory Got to hand it to her, her only purpose was too fdind and kill Dawn and look good while doing it. Unfortunately she failed.
The Trio of Nerds just some geeks rying to capitalize on the mystical forces in their town. Hell is I lived on the Hellmouth and survived some of the shit Johnathan had survived, I would probably have thought I was capable of getting away with that sort of thing too.
Willow She was in the original pilot the unaired pilot only had a different actress playing her. I wish there was another way for them to have made her turn evil rather than killing off Tara.
The First I would say that never being able to defeat it is a con. Without evil there can be no good and vice versa.

I would so love to discuss this and so many other things with you :) you like so much that i do it's scarry ;)

As for drucilla I know she was more evil in Angel, but I was considering only their role in Buffy, because if you consider Angel than it changes your view of well Angel, Spike, and Faith a little.

As for Jonathan (and Andrew) I know they weren't Evil themselves, mostly they were duped by Warren who was the real evil of Season 6, Willow was not so much evil as consumed by rage and grief, allowing the evil powers to take over more or less i think. Jonathan was just going along with who he thought where his friends, he was always reluctant to do anything where there was an actual human "victim". Andrew was, and I know people debate this, but I think season 7 clearly establishes this, he was gay and was in love with Warren. While I don't think Warren actually ever told Andrew they'd be together and stuff (I think that was only the First in season 7 and Andrew's imagination in Season 6) Warren definatly knew Andrew would do anything warren wanted him to and he abused this, just like he used Jonathan.
