take this job and please be a good reference
i finally told the big boss that i'm most likely going to be moving around january, and he said he'd be a reference. that means that i can put references on my resume, which means i can start snooping around for what jobs might be available where. which all put together means that i can figure out, or at least get a better idea of where in colorado i want to move to. things are just great.
i watched the billy bragg/wilco movie about making woody guthrie songs that were never recorded. off the top of my head, my favorite line in the movie was some english guy, "it's all gone a bit pear-shaped, 'asn't it?"
