ANXIOUS!!
I am so....everything! I've stopped saying scared though, as there is nothing to fear in this situation. Anxious, yes! Impatient, yes! But not scared. I've always said my favourite place to be is on an airplane - you are always coming from somewhere and going somewhere. Odd, yet it is a very relaxing and centering thing for me. Throw in a sunset, window seat, and a personal screen to watch my choice of movie, and I am all set!
Simone discovered that Sydney is having Mardi Gras while I am there. Wow. I've never really been to a real Mardi Gras party....should be very exciting! I finished booking flights today. By flights I mean the little trips around Australia I/we are taking. 16 days seems like a long time, and I think it would be in one place, but it isn't very long when you try to see as much of a country as you can!! Good news is, I am being pretty realistic, and despite flying somewhere else every week I am gone, think it will be a very relaxing trip.
Two days! Thanks to everyone at work for putting up with the countdown on my whiteboard since....well, it started somewhere in the high 30's. I didn't think it would ever get this low!
