(no subject)
I know I keep doing this - and I seem to be in a rut - but I really really mean to 'be' here and enjoy my friends and such...
But Denethor has been incredibly needy. I'm soooo close to finishing 'Ten Thousand Years' that I can taste it... And Rusandol has been beta'ing the whole thing for me... which forced me to go back and look at some discrepancies and such -
So much time - I bet I've spent over forty hours the last two weeks working on the events/battles/garrison/captains/characters listing. I feel like I'm going mad.
But this tale is well worth it - at least for me - just needed to see the Denethor I found in Tolkien's tale given his due... since PJ annihilated any 'goodness' or 'honor' or 'greatness' for any non-readers.
And then - there's the MEFAs - whcih are absolutely wonderful, but as any of the liaisons know - it is a lot of work at the beginning of the contest.... but I've found some 'new' friends and have added them to my LJ list of friends... they are writing - and that is a good thing for someone like me who, even in the midst of writing/editing/etc. 'needs' to have 'more' ......
