Imagine you're taking a walk.
All of a sudden, with just a few words, every hope and dream that lived in your head fall out. You try desperately to pick them up again, scrambling around on the floor. Ah, there's one, oh, here's another piece...
Then the actions begin to speak louder than the words. You close your eyes. This isn't something you want to see. Not everything is picked up yet. And you try harder and harder, work faster and faster. Hark! You found them all, everything is going to be okay.
But you left one fragment underneath your right chuck. You didn't see it. How did you miss it?
You think you have everything though, so you continue along on your merry way. I mean, really, if you think it's all there, then you can keep dreaming. The biggest dreams you've ever had enter your head. You feel like you've found yourself. This is when you stop and take a rest. After all, you've been walking a long time and deserve to take a break.
You kick off your shoes and you see that little scrap of hope fly off with your shoe. How could you have missed it? So you get up and walk over to it to stuff that fucker right back in your head where it belongs. You weren't fast enough though. There it goes, you're last dream flying into the wind...
It was the most important piece of the puzzle. It's the one you need for all your other dreams to come true.
Now here you are, running around like mad to catch that damn little slice of hope......
and who knows if you'll ever get it back now.
