If the City gains it's power from us, then does that mean plotting like this is given it power? I guess that means we don't have much time. Hmm...
I'm not sure if you can call those deity things puppets though. They enjoy what they do, so they must have some sense of self. It makes me so mad! They say they're just created for one purpose and it's not their place to question what's happening, but they obviously do have thoughts and feelings of their own! It's not right. I've met guys who were created for one purpose, and they had a lot more courage and conviction than these stupid 'gods'!
I don't get it. That other guy tried to stop the clock before, when I wasn't in the City yet, and they just set it back to where it should have been, right? Shouldn't we just try to destroy the clock altogether? Damage the mechanism somehow?
We are fuel for the City but doesn't mean all we do is food for the countdown.
For what I could observe, their answers and their emotions are indeed limited to their purposes. They are indeed puppets following a script, if we widen them, if we give them a real self awareness (not the pretense of it), we could have better results.
We must avoid damage to the clock until we find out more about it. That's step number 2.
I know you're right, but it's so frustrating! The longer we're here trying to figure this out, more people are getting trapped and hurt by the curses. And we don't even have any leads! No one's going to tell us anything about the carousel, and just watching it isn't going to make any difference. I hate this!
