No, I can take 300/400s whenever I want, especially since technically, by credit standing, I'm a junior. However, for an English minor, I have to take 2 200 levels, 2 300 levels and a 400 level. I've done my 200 levels, so I need the rest, and I'm having a hard time finding stuff I want to take in the 300s and 400s. Everything I like, such as Intro to Creative Writing, seems to be a 200.
oooooh. ooook. makes sense now. i was uber confused...mostly because i'm in 3 300 levels and 2 200s right now and i was thinking how much life would suck if you couldn't take 300 levels until your literal third year. haha, i'm dumb sometimes.
PS- yay for being juniors! =) PPS- our 200 level English classes are booooring--American Lit I & II, Brit Lit I & II and the intro level classes. The 300/400 is where we get Shakespeare, Contemporary Am. Lit, etc...you should come to BU for your English! hahaha
Yeah. What's funny is that, in my major, there's only one 100 level and one 200 level. All the rest are 300 and above. Crazy, huh?
Well, a lot of stuff that is higher level is interesting...like a Twain class taught by a professor I love, a gender and literature class (which I plan to take), History of Film, Shakespeare, and Milton. (and then a bunch of boring technical writing classes. Blah.)
