Against Me again
I went to the Against Me! show last night and it was pretty good. I only went because I pulled an art assignment out of my ass and decided I should reward myself. So were driving up to Portland (Andy, Sam, and me) when I noticed a thudding sound. I looked over and realized the duct-tape window was starting to flap in the wind. Seeing that this was in the back where I was I decided to fix this problem. I jammed a styrofoam cup in the duct-tape flap making a slit large enough to let air through thus stopping the vacuum effect. So we get there and I'm waiting in line and this girl ask me if her cigarette smoke was bugging me. I told her no, but that I wish I had one. She gave me one and introduced herself( her name was Megan.) I think we talked about something but I can't recall what. I lost track of her once inside the venue shortly after talking to her.
This band played. . . . eh. . . then Against Me! played. I was getting bored of the same old new album shit and was about to go upstairs but then, those fuckers- they played "Reinventing Axl Rose" and it was amazing. Next thing I know it's over. I went outside and that girl Megan was out there. She asked me if I like drinking and of coarse I do. She wanted me to go drinking with her but she lives in Hillsboro and because of the geographic differences we parted ways. My brother and me estimate she was probably 22 - 24 years old so once again older chicks are digging me and I still think that's odd..
I didn't get home until around 2 am and I had to be at school by 8. I made it to school and had to rush home to finish another art project due tomorrow which I just finished and now I have to go to work from 5 to 10:30 and I can barely keep my eyes open.
