While I do miss the immediacy of radio talkies (and, you know, opportunities to react nigh-instantaneously), it *is* fun listening to podcasts. You choose the content you want to listen to, when you want to listen! :)
Host and produce some of them, yes, for our company, Hinge Inquirer Publications. We're starting to get into them in a big way for our magazines, with one show per title - that's eight different shows bi-weekly. We've recorded several for Mobile Philippines, PC Magazine, Game, Burn and F&B World, and we're recording for Golf Digest Philippines and Spark soon. We're ramping up and will be in full swing by the beginning of next year.
I understand there are still recordings of the old Twisted radio shows available somewhere on the net - which sort of makes them the very first Philippine podcasts ever made, in a way. (Jessica's newer internet-originated material is available, of course, but I'm not on them anymore.)

Funny you mention the Gladwell book - his maven concept is one of our core philosophies in Hinge; we make sure each magazine is staffed by mavens from that mag's field. Some of our casts are on the magazine sites. Remind me to post up a link on my blog page sometime soon.
Nice idea you have there; yes, maybe we can have coffee sometime, before you leave. I'm from the QC area but work in Makati. Anyways, we can email each other.
(Hey, your reply isn't that long - compared to my long-winded rambling posts. I'm surprised people actually take time to read this blog, I'm so talkative.)
I always did enjoy your way with words. It should be interesting to see if such an acronym would draw in more listeners, if one could get away with it.
Do you also make regular podcasts?
