Halloween Plans?

I just got finished making a poodle skirt for Maddie. She's Kit's sister (Kit will be coming in May) and Susie's cousin-and mine, too, in a way since Susie and I are adopted sisters. Maddie was trying to figure out a way she could have a costume for Halloween without spending anything (she and Kit live 1930's lifestyles). So I surprised her by making her a poodle skirt. She loves it and tired it on, right away. Now she just needs a mask for Halloween, she said. I snapped a couple of pics of her. Missy also will put the skirt instructions on her site later and she'll probably make one for 18" dolls for the photo contest prize next, though it'll be a little different and not like a real poodle skirt since it'll have side seams but she doesn't have a car or license and so can't buy the actual length of fabric she needs.





So, what is everyone planning on being for Halloween? I'm not sure what I'm going to be yet. Hallie is going to be a princess again. Maybe I'll be an angel like Kirsten was last year. I think Missy brought the wings and halo back with her. That could work; I could wear my nightgown that I'm wearing now. (I'm going to change outfits now, actually). Is anyone doing anything fun for Halloween? I'm not sure what we're doing. Hallie will want to do something festive. Grandlinda gave us presents! A Scooby Doo Halloween joke book, two flashlights, two yo-yos and a notepad! I'll add a picture later.
