This is the ag_ficsAlpha/Beta Request post for the Extra Light Challenge currently running.
You are NOT required to have an alpha and/or beta for your entries but if you would like one or would like to offer your services as one, then comment below.

You may reply to as many offers or requests as you wish. Leave a comment for them to organise sending/receiving works.
This post will be locked and all comments screened on the 28th September 2011 (i.e. The deadline for all entrants who did NOT sign up) to protect anonymity of the writers.
Writers should credit their alpha/beta in their author's notes.

REQUESTS
- You MUST include your username and email so that your alpha/beta can contact you.
- Describe your fic's genre (e.g. romance, future!fic, smut, angst, pre-series, canon, AU, modern etc.) You can use as many genres as you want to describe your fic! :)
- If you can, try to provide a length for your fic so your alpha/beta has an idea of what they're dealing with. If you are unsure of the length, leave blank or give an estimate.
- Include any other details you think are important. These can be the Themes you are using for the challenge, any warnings such as violence or sexual content, the title, the rating or even a short non-specific summary your fic.
There is only one rule:
DO NOT include a full summary or plot outline for your fic in your request form as this may give away your anonymity when the entries are posted. Only reveal these details in emails or PMs with your alpha/beta.

OFFERING
- You MUST include your username and email so that the writers can contact you.
- State the skills that you can bring to being an alpha/beta (e.g. Grammar/Spelling, Brit-picking, general plot advice). Also take this oppotunity to state what types of fic you specific can/like to edit (i.e. beta'ing smut, violence or angst).
- Likewise you should state any types of fic that you do not wish to edit. You may not like editing AUs or modern fics. You may not be willing to offer services as an alpha, only a beta. State anything like that in your comment.
- If you have any other details you wish to share with the writers, put them in the comment too.
REMEMBER must not compromise the fic-writer's anonymity in any way (e.g. By telling anyone before the voting ends who you alpha/beta'ed for.)
