What is with all your *evil* ness down on the bottom about how I tend to write long? But then you called me the *long worded wonder* so maybe that's a compliment, lol? Hee...I thought you didn't even notice my answering your prompt then...ah.
Calling it like I see it. And I NOTICE EVERYTHING. Sometimes. You made a memorable impression, as do most of my friends - which is why the whole friend thing happens in the first place.
I have all these odd memories of everyone on my f-list: Jen persistently *licking* me via PM when I'd known her like half a second after only just becoming *friends* with her coz she seemed kinda epic and wrote wonderful stories, HMS and bb!Arthur...which is probably the oddest way I've made a friend, and I remember Piper with her mushroom icon - which was how I recognised her all the time AND THEN SHE CHANGED IT and it took me forever to get use to it and we weren't even technically 'friends' half the time and I just thought we were. Which is the same thing I did with you, assumed that at some point we'd friended each other and we hadn't, (which we fixed recently). And I used to be a bit scared of Sophie, logical people with well rounded and evidenced arguments are freaky things and we had more back and forths than I care to remember on plot points and characters a million years ago - she ALWAYS had the best come back to my points, ones I couldn't argue with - very frustrating...Millie, I don't know where I met Millie. Probably a discussion post of some kind or NO NO NO, it was a friending Meme - somewhere, I think...that's how I got a whole bunch of friends and made myself look less lonely. *laughs* It feels like a decade ago now. Misha - I don't know when we became friends... but I remember the first time I noticed her, it was the get AG laid campaign I think or the other one in the same vein and she wrote just...ugh the most perfect fill and I was wowed.
I collect awesome people. It's my hobby.
But anyway, I find your ability to write long fics incredible, so it's a half compliment - coz I simply can't do it anymore - you're impressive and your writing (not just the length) shows a certain dedication and imagination that I admire.
Unfortunately this will not stop me teasing you about it. Not ever. Because you write too many words.
It's like you don't want to win :P
Then you call me out on prompting. I realized during the holiday fic thing that if I prompt, people will write my prompts so I'm going to make it my goal to prompt away this time.

Ooooh...I want a MVP award if possible...yeah!
It's a good motivator for within your team. Since you only have to trump 2 other people for fills to get MVP. Better odds too.
But 10 days...yay...a weekend...an actual weekend.
Two weekends if I have my way, or 1 and a half.
Thursday's challenged me to write short and to prompt and well I'm going to take up the challenge
Getting people riled up should be my day job. I'm good at it. Skilled, even.
Ahhhh...I was intimidated by almost all of you and CL itself because you had to apply for membership/etc. I came into the Merlin {A/G} fandom from another where I started out from the beginning and was pretty well known. And so I came into this one almost halfway through kind of scrambling to understand it and know people. But most of you I got to know through Camelot Love. Jen...oh my gosh...she was like a legend from my point of view and then she was so friendly from the get-go at CL and at her journal and l liked her so much. Still do...and miss her presence here. Piper bid on my fic for the Camelot Love Haiti thing a thon and so I adored her for that because that was right when I first got in. M and Sophie responded to me during CL discussions and that was lovely. For you though it was AG fics where I first got to know you. And i just love your sense of humor, your dryness, and your response when you really enjoy something. You're just really cool a lot, hee! Oh and your banners may have figured in there somewhere...love your banners. Misha: I think I started talking to her through fic, but I loved when she did the porn thing...so fun. HMS, I think it was a meme thing...love her LJ and all, but I'm rarely on LJ anymore honestly.
Hmmm...prompting and writing shorter...I aim to surprise if I can. If I'm writing for myself it's about the quality of writing {though I admit that doesn't mean long, and it's something I'm going to use this to work on to get shorter}, but if I'm writing for a team it's about keeping that team intact and not disappointing anyone. When placed on a team I do everything I can to make the team do well. So I'm going to make it my effort to prompt as much as I can and to write shorter fics. Because it's not about playing for just me...it's about the team. My personality, that makes a difference honestly.

Hmmm...prompting and writing shorter...I aim to surprise if I can.
