LOL it was me so...um, here ME, have a banner *g*...this is a very sad turn of events.
Can't believe I made it...it's not like I wouldn't have understood. Obviously I'm tired.

::Feedback::
We got a bit of Feedback for all you writers so scroll through and see what people have to say :)

This was great. I loved a lot of the submissions, and the ones that were my favorite were the ones that made me laughed out loud and the ones that wanted me to read more.

---

#2 Coeur de Lion and #4 Lavender Sachet - Am I the only one who thought that these stories HAD TO BE written? Loved them.

#8 - This was one of my prompts and I adored the entries for it, but this one was probably my favorite.

Overall: ...I feel really badly because some of my favors didn't make the top ten list and while I sincerely voted for the best of what was here, there were definitely a couple that IMO deserved to be in this list.

---
[Number's refer to Top Ten - http://ag-fics.livejournal.com/49712.html]

I love my humor, so #6 and #2 had to end up in my Top 3 somehow, because they were executed SO WELL. But the sentiment in #9 was so beautifully done I had to make it my FAVORITE FAVE. :D
#4, 5, and 8 were chosen for the same reasons. :P

---

It kind of ends too soon, doesn't it? ...and then Voting takes an age and a half.

---

This line is CLASSIC (from "Whose Fault First"):

Arthur manned up and explained, “Merlin thought we could fix it, so it was his fault.”

I can see the whole fic happening, and that was just the perfect punchline. :D
---

While it feels like "Not My Fault" should've lost out for having read it after that one, I still lol'ed at the ending just as much. :D

---

I had a similar idea from this prompt, but I'm really glad I didn't fill it, because "Finally Free" is just perfect. I really hope we see something like this in-show!

---

Both replies to this prompt, "Last Rites" and "Lack of Foresight", cracked me up (although, not being a Glee watcher, I may have missed something in the second-- still found it funny, though). :D I desperately wants to know what happens next for both!!

---

"Anything You Can Do" is now part of my head!canon. :D LOVE it!!

---

"With Hope" is just beautiful. Very nicely done!!

---

"Together We Stand" is the sort of thing I REALLY want to see in-show. But, not knowing whether we'll ever get it or not, reading a fic like this is a great substitute!

---

Also, some A+++ prompts!

---

'Never'...I never expect Smut to be that good within a Mini Challenge. I had no doubt that this would win Best Smut...and then it did.

Coeur de Lion- Comedy and Not My Fault - PG - Comedy

these two made me laughed out loud. I know it's still early, but I wanted to say that. With Coer, its funny to see "manly" Arthur scared of spiders and that she thus named Slayer of Spiders, and anything else that freaks him out, its funny and sweet. In Not My Fault, Gwen is the scary one, so Arthur throws Merlin under the bus to save himself. I wonder what happened to her house?

Not so Secret Admirer. (http://ag-fics.livejournal.com/49262.html?thread=526190#t526190)

Loved the humour in this and Arthur determined to find out who was wooing Gwen.

The kindness of strangers. (http://ag-fics.livejournal.com/49262.html?thread=515950#t515950)

I thought this was an interesting take on the prompt! I would have loved to hear some of the detailed, honest confessions.

Hello (http://ag-fics.livejournal.com/49262.html?thread=469358#t469358)

I like this because of how, with such few words, it manages to hint at a much bigger, complex story out there.

See my eyes ... (http://ag-fics.livejournal.com/49262.html?thread=511086#t511086)

So angsty! I want to read more - which I suppose is a good way to tell that you like something.

Ulterior Motive (http://ag-fics.livejournal.com/49262.html?thread=497518#t497518)

This made me smile. So cute!

Director Meets His Dame - This is my favourite, hands down, whole challenge - this one made me go OOH. And I'm not ashamed to admit that it prompted me to Google 1940s terminology so I could play with that prompt myself...but then I FORGOT before the challenge ended! Brain. Slow.

With Hope - Just has the unexplainable thing about it. I wish I could tell you why this is one of my favourites. Because that would be helpful feedback...

Together We Stand - I can see why this got to be Top 10 you didn't waste a single word. It's perfect and contained and ...Arthur and Gwen, if they're going out - they'll do it together <3

Not so Secret Admirer - Is probably the most I've liked Elyan in fic form ever. I want some sibling-team up happening in Camelot and if it's against Arthur, or any of the other Knights or Merlin all the better :D
---

"An awesome sword deserves and awesome name" - really like the whole thing but the line that makes it for me is: "This sword that Merlin had conveniently found abandoned in a stone was amazing." LOL. Could so see it happening like that!

I also think "The Gifts" stands out - really poignant.

---

Simply outstanding! Really all I have to say. Prompt was amazing and open to conjecture and allowed for freedom of voice and possible style and this person, more than delivered. Sexy, hot, sensual, bang on, pun intended ;)

Prompt - Up Against the Wall
Never - Smut/Angst - R - http://ag-fics.livejournal.com/49262.html?thread=501614#t501614

This one is simply charming and warm and in keeping with character(s). You cannot help but have a soft smile when you read it.
Prompt - Lancelot (or anybody) leaves Gwen's heart tattered but Arthur is there to pick up the pieces.
Young Love - http://ag-fics.livejournal.com/49262.html?thread=475758#t475758

This one proves that sometimes, less is so, so much more.
Prompt - A teenage Prince Arthur graduates from using wooden swords to real thing just in time to take directions from the new tutor who is far more experienced but happens to be a curly-haired girl with brown eyes.
http://ag-fics.livejournal.com/49262.html?thread=461422#t461422

Prompt - Somewhere over the pacific ocean, on their Virgin Airlines plane, they start experiencing terrifying turbulence, Gwen stays calm, while Arthur freaks the f**k out and starts confessing things - big things, small things; everything.

(...Merlin, Morgana or/and any of the Knights being there would be LOL as well)
Very clever and very in character, excellent language flow and a charm of its own.
Kindness of Strangers - http://ag-fics.livejournal.com/49262.html?thread=515950#t515950

Prompt - On their wedding night, Arthur is embarrassed to have to tell Gwen he's never...er...you know....
I thought this a clever turn and I appreciated the author’s approach, because there was equity in how she wrote it putting both characters on an even basis without losing sensuality in the moment and reverence for both. Excellent job even though not anon *chuckle*.
http://ag-fics.livejournal.com/49262.html?thread=483182#t483182

Cannot wait to read more. Nice turnout.

::END OF FEEDBACK::

Thank You, every single person who took the time to Vote (especially you guys who did so TWICE)...*dispenses cookies to small crowd...hits a couple people in the forehead - but THEY'RE OKAY, coz it's cookie not a brick...throws cookies gentler*

I'm going to lock the Challenge post tomorrow, so if you're not a Member and you want to copy your fic before I do...you have some time.

OK, so this is the time and place to tell us what was WUT in this Challenge - The Good, the Bad and the Confuzzling - so that next time when we all gather for MC3 in July it's easy peasy.

...I've made myself the goal of getting the Challenge down to 1 Week - Writing & Voting included - so I'm open to suggestions...in between where I bug you guys to tell me what you wrote.

Anon Writers - You can repost your ficlets now  ...YOU'RE FREE \o/
OH AND....lookit - a teaser for the Challenge Sophie will be posting about later today... but that's all the details I'm giving. *laughs manically*
