Nostradamus shook his head. "She can't stay. Her enemies will kill her. There is safe passage."
"Through the Druid Woods?" Francis asked with disdain. "It's too dangerous."
Mary touched her fiance's hands in hopes of appeasement. It had taken time for her and Francis to finally come to an even keel. Now not only was she going away again, but it would be with Bash. "Francis, I know it's hard for you to not believe in what you can't see, but it's real."
Bash added, "I'll protect her Francis."
France's newly crowned king loved Mary and knew she loved him the same, but trusting Bash was another matter. "And be alone with her."
"I want her safe as you do."
Francis nodded heavily, kissing his soon to be wife. "Fine. Mary-

The way to Camelot was strange, but the king and queen were with wisdom and Merlin's connection to Nostradamus made it possible.
"I ask humbly King Arthur and Queen Guinevere for a temporary stay."
Sharing a few words with his wife, Arthur smiled tightly. "Granted."

A month later Mary was sharing the rounds with Guinevere, who she liked very much, when a voice came from behind.
"Only you Mary."
"Oh!" She let out with delight, hugging her fiance as he returned it.
"It's safe now?"
He nodded happily. "You can come home; finally we'll be married."
