"Living Together" (BBT, Raj/Stuart. Gen)afullmarginMarch 18 2013, 06:21:47 UTC
Living with Raj was harder than he’d thought it would be. They argued over stupid things like where the peanut butter goes (who puts peanut butter in the fridge, really?), whether or not dirty socks in the general vicinity of the hamper constituted a mess (they’re close…) or if the white noise machine got set to ocean or rainforest (who likes screeching animals?).
But at the end of the night he sees two copies of Serenity next to a photo of how the place looked before he moved in - empty spaces missing socks and stacks of comics, now its home.
Mighty Boosh or any Brit comics involvesconcupiscence66December 7 2012, 04:06:55 UTC
Dave Brown's "Tough Crowd" photos show shockingly personal and vulnerable images of people who usually put on a face for the camera. I'd like to read about any of them either reacting to their own image or to those of their friends/loved ones.
The prints are amazing, he expected no less from Dave of course, if a single man’s camera could steal a soul it would his.
Looking at them wasn’t easy, the way subtle color and focus could strip away the façades of men and women he knew cut him deep. Some he had worked with, others he only knew in passing - a friend of a friend.
But the man at the window stops him cold, looking at himself looking out at the skyline - empty or wistful, pensive. A lesser man might feel naked, exposed and vulnerable. It’s the man few know.
Joke (BBT, Raj/Stuart. Gen)afullmarginMay 6 2013, 21:56:17 UTC
He hung it in the store as a joke, just to see the awkward glances exchanged when a group of particularly lonely guys camped out around the more expensive Limited - buy them before you can read them - Editions. His sales figures doubled the first day, but was easy to forget as he ran the sweeper over ground in snack foods.
Suddenly, familiar arms wrapped around his waist from behind, getting his attention just enough to turn around for a warm, unexpected kiss.
“W… what was that about?”
Smiling sheepishly, Raj pointed up at the sprig of rosemary masquerading as mistletoe.

“There won’t be a next time.” Jack stares up at the ceiling, the impending mission weighing heavily on both of their minds.
“You don’t…”
“I know.”
Daniel sighs; “I want you to know…”
“I know.” He states bluntly, closing his eyes. “You don’t have to say it.”
“Jack, I…”
“You’ll be fine.”
He won’t be fine, he knows it and he’s pretty sure everyone else does too.
“Please, just listen.”
“Fine.”
“I love you.”
“I know.”
