I haven't talked about some otome games in a while so here are some ramblings!
Sugarbeans will release a
PS2 version of Under the Moon! in the near future (release date is still TBA)
First off, voice cast! PS version:
Ashely: Sakurai Harumi (in ?), Leni: Taniyama Kisho (Len from Corda, Kittan from Gurren)
Seizh: Yusa Kouji (Gin from Bleach), Kyle: Hagi Michihito (Cat version: Yoshida Airi)
Sena: Kishio Daisuke (Azuma from Corda, Kaname from Vampire Knight), Zero(???): Hamada Kenji (Patrick from Gundam00)
I'm used to the original cast (kyle is the only one who didnt change) so I dunno how it'll be with the new voices... butnice casting for the ps2! :D I just realized that it's the same cast. LOLOL
I'm really excited for this because I really love the cute artwork and story. Of course, since it's on PS2 all the H scenes will be cut but there's going to be 70 new(?) cgs~ I took a peek (立ち読みwww) at one of the girl game magazines and the new cgs look really sweet! ><
asdfll;;; and I cant wait to play/see the new events for each character though I am biased and going straight for Kyle's route first play. I- I like 片思い/頑張りや characters too much! Then I'll probably follow in this order:
Kyle > Leni > Sena > Zero(???) > Seizh
Seizh is last because he's such an S in the game (or at least in my play ;_;)
I never really liked tsundere characters too much. Okay, honestly I just don't like the tsun! I can take the dere, but not the tsun! It totally puts me off playing the characters route if they act like a big jerk to the heroine D: But then I guess the appeal of this type of character is seeing how much they change and the big dere afterwards!? I'm sure this only applies to 2D characters because anyone who does that in the REAL world would be all alone their whole lives....r-right? Right????
'cos majima tarou (GS2) was a total Jerk with a capital J. He made me wanna break my DS in two at times... but in all his route and end scene was really well done. There's a big following of fans for him doujinshi wise in the fandom last I checked.
An otome game I installed/played for a bit was
Life with Idol.
hmm it's okay? :< The heroine isn't really the heroine? I mean, since... well, she's a ghost and all ... and like, the whole story is of her stalking hanging around a small talent agency. I guess people just buy it for the voice roles!? As far as I've played I haven't come across any route pickings so I'm guessing its a straight visual novel.
Very amused at the 9500+ mylists for the
しねばいいのに♪ song over at nico XD
Pet peeve of the day: when someone begs for comments on his/her artwork but you know it's all just eye-tracing off a manga (copied poses/tracing etc) I understand we all like attention now and then but common! :\
